Loss of rudder control after Autopilot use in Bf 110

Has anyone had a problem with the Bf 110 rudders locking after engaging and disengaging "Course autopilot"?

I have no rudder control after autopilot is turned off.

Hi Mark,

Ive flown a lot of hours in the 110 and cant say I've ever had this problem. But that doesnt mean you didnt/dont have an issue.  To help figure it out Ive got a couple of questions

(a) What do you use for rudders? Pedals/twist grip/keys/something else

(b) What procedure do you use to engage / disengage course autopilot?

(c) After you disengage it - what position are the rudders in (ie are they hard over left/right or are they in the normal centred position)?

(d) Do your rudders still move in response to your inputs after you have disengaged?

(e) Have you tried re-engaging the autopilot to see what happens?

Answers to the above may help narrow this down.

Ezzie,

I sorted it out.

Conflicting key binding with AI Autopilot.

Thanks for suggestions as they helped me sort it out.
