Lighting issues

Cockpit textures are often very dark.

Aircraft textures are often quite dark.

 

It is almost like there is no diffuse lighting on the models.

 

Any idea what is going on?

This happens to me sometimes when i launch a multiplayer game.

To fix this, i totally restart the game, i launch a single player mission (it doesn't matter which one), i stop the mission and relaunch the multiplayer game.

Happened to me once in SP after installing the latest hotfix patch and purging cache files before launching the game. A restart fixed it, however.

Make sure you delete the cache file in:

 

Documents/1C SoftClub/il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover/

Originally they are more visible.
