Indufuskellum Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 (edited) Hi, This maybe a stupid question ,I bought all my iL2 through the company,I am also on steam which updates all patches, my question is which version do I use steam or iL2 as I have both on my PC,if it is iL2 then I need to D/L a further 22GB ? Any difference , between the two ? Thanks Edited August 15, 2020 by Indufuskellum Added query
Avimimus Posted August 15, 2020 Posted August 15, 2020 I buy the sims off this website (which gives more money to the developers). I also use the official launcher (downloaded from this website) which means that I do not have to install it on steam as well. One should only require the launcher I believe.
AEthelraedUnraed Posted August 16, 2020 Posted August 16, 2020 If you have the Steam version (BoS), you should launch it from Steam as that will automatically include all products you bought at the IL2 store. The other way around, IIRC, doesn't work. So if, for instance, you have BoS on Steam and BoBP from the IL2 store, if you launch from Steam you get both whereas if you launch from the standalone launcher you'll only have BoBP. If you bought BoS from the IL2 store you shouldn't even be able to load it from Steam, unless you bought BoS both from Steam and the IL2 store in which case it doesn't really matter which launcher you use.
