StarLightSong Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 (edited) Crosswind pedals right side brake pedal not picked up during control setup. Playing around with this, this weekend. My Saitek's were fine but that was dif. gear and dif. BOS version- a few months ago. I've had trouble controlling the 109 taxi on take off with my new crosswind pedals. Fine for yaw/ rudder control in the air. Seems I get no trigger on right brake pedal axis during setup- normal on left brake pedal when completing setup, and normal needle movement when configuring yaw curves. Then is game on the ground, no right break effect and constant left turn behavior which means an abrupt jump into the air on the side of the runway breaking out just above the trees. Exciting but some times I loop around and hit the ai compadres. Keeping me from trying multiplayer but it's alpha and I've new pedals and my "wife's" here in the midnight sun for a couple of weeks visit so I'm not crying. Still very happy about this sim effort. ST_Pirato Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Try calibrating the Pedals with the MFG Software. When you changed the angle of the footrest you need to re-calibrate the brakes. Just in case, check if the both cables for the brakes are correctly plugged in. For the left turn behavior, I had the same until I saw that for some reason the brake axis was inverted and the brake was applied when in Zero position .
StarLightSong Posted May 12, 2014 Author Posted May 12, 2014 Will check those issues. Didn't change the footrest angle but my first attempt at calibration may have been deficient or the axis inversion, did check the cables. Nice pedals and others seem to have them working . Thanks.
SYN_Vorlander Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 New firmware released yesterday. Maybe it could resolve ur issues.
StarLightSong Posted May 15, 2014 Author Posted May 15, 2014 Thanks, going to give it a try tomorrow night, have some time.
