Your colorized version turned out great. I've noticed that some photos I've worked with and some posted here have the same appearance as color photos from old 1940s and 50s National Geographic magazines. I'm not sure how best to describe them but they don't appear like they use the entire color spectrum. They look very much like published period photographs from WWII. Still a very cool tool to play with. 1
SOLIDKREATE Posted September 11, 2020 Author Posted September 11, 2020 (edited) Yeah some pic I use thing on give a an area of full color for paint samples. You have to zoom in but you will see them, sometimes. I have RLM74, 75, 76 and good ones too. I used this Colorizer to get all my color samples for this P-38 I have been working on for some time now. I actually forgot I even had it. Notice how the OD hue changes with the lighting conditions like on the real plane. I think the yellow looks more Photo-realistic, well because it came from a photo. Same for my white and blue. Edited September 11, 2020 by SOLIDKREATE

Brown. Well worth reading. Here: https://airwarpublications.com/product/luftwaffe-camouflage-commentary-1-rlm-77/ Spoiler Edited September 12, 2020 by sevenless 1
Feathered_IV Posted September 15, 2020 Posted September 15, 2020 I’m going through a bit of an RN phase at the moment. HMS Fury and Ashanti laying a smoke screen: I reckon it nailed that one. 1 2
Ram399 Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 (edited) This really is a cool bot, I've spent the last hour or so running random pictures through it. However, in my hubris, I had a terrible thought- and was so swept up by this newfound power that after realizing I could I didn't even consider whether or not I should. Motivated by morbid curiosity, I ran some of IL-2s lovely autogenerated Career faces through it. Luckily the results were not as nightmarish as I expected them to be, they're just about as mildly unsettling as the faces already are by default- so props to the bot lol.
