My sim suddenly ignores my controllers ?

Recommended Posts

After months and months, I had a sudden restart of PC last night :

Both my beloved joystick (new T16000m tcs ) and my VKB rudder controls - stooped working.

I tried to restart PC couple of times, checked that in "settings" is ticked "joystick", even my joystick "settings""are there...

>  I went to Win10 64  "control panel"  and in controllers "properties" testing system perfectly reacts to all axes, buttons, sliders - on both controllers.

I tried to change usb ports ( both in windows and with PC switched off... )

It seems that Windows perfectly reacts to inputs of 2 controllers - but my simulation ( Steam integrated BoS/BoC/BoB ) simply ignores them ?!?

What on earth should I try - too get back my Joystick and Rudders control ?!?

(Both devices do not have Drivers, they operate perfectly just by plug in...)

Any advice, proposal, or opinion ?

In CloD Options > Controls > Axes tab you see you controllers names with a numbers code, like this?

Usually what cause controllers irresponsible in CloD, GB (Bo'X) is Steam controller setting, who prevail over other joysticks.

In Steam interface > Settrings > Controller > Un-tick this options.

And in each game shortcut (in Steam) Properties set this two options "Forced off".

Thanks Sokol1,

I made a backup of some things, and had to Uninstall/Inastall the whole sim.

Now I have to change/reconfirm each key of my Steam  Bt o Stlg, with integrated BoK/BoB...

Thanks Mate

I'm also having this problem.  At random times the game will stop recognizing some inputs, particularly my throttle.  Trim, pitch, and yaw will still work, but throttle and various key commands won't work anymore.  I can't even press "E" to shut down my engine or restart it and all throttle inputs are ignored.  The game is recognizing my controllers because I can go into the key commands and remap things just fine, but then they just cease to do anything in game at seemingly random points in a mission.  For example, I flew just fine for about 20min in multiplayer before the bug happened and my throttle inputs were completely ignored.  Other times it will happen within the first few minutes of the mission.

Anyone else having this problem?  It sounds pretty similar to OP, but the recommendations made by Sokol1 didn't do anything because the game is recognizing my controllers in the input mapping screen, they just cease to actually do anything in game at seemingly random intervals.  Definitely feels like a bug game wise and not a controller problem.

im having the same problem. after a few minutes of flight, the game stops to recognize my throttle. everything works except the throtlle.

its not just the throtlle. everything related to the engine. I try to stop the engine pressing " E" but the the engine continues to work.

Check your USB settings in divice manager if they are set to "windows can turn this off to save energy" (or something like that) You need to check every one of your USB ports and untick them if they are ticked. If it´s not that problem I´m out of solution.
