HamFlower Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 So on my monitor (not inside the headset) the game is displayed on two screens (right and left), one for each eye lense of the headset. When I use the capture program that just comes standard on windows PC it captures both screens which obviously isn't as ideal as one consolidated picture. Is there specific setting or capture program that could help me achieve this?
FTC_Mephisto Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 Some helpful info: Either use that, or make a track, change to 2D and then record. But there are issues...
=IRFC=Gascan Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 My brother and I use OBS Studio to record live gameplay in VR. It even has some presets to select the dominant eye, as well as crop the video to the right aspect ratio. While I have to have my settings turned down to maintain smooth gameplay in VR, I think it still works out pretty good. For example, here is a video from Flying Circus multiplayer on the Flugpark.
