JohnHolmes Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Is it possible to use 2x Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog throttles? A while back I bought a faulty second hand Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog joystick and throttle, with the thought of fixing the faulty buttons on the joystick. I disassembled the joystick but wasn't able to fix it. Later on I bought a new Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog joystick and throttle, so now have 2 throttles. Will Il2 (or other sims like DCS) allow me to use both throttles for double engined aircraft? I would just give it a go but have lent to a friend and would rather ask for it back once I knew it would work. Cheers for any help. Jonathan
cardboard_killer Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 Shouldn't be any problem in IL-2; don't know about DCS. However, I can't say I've done it, so take my assurances with a grain of salt. I have run two throttle quads before, but they were different brands. 1
Art-J Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 DCS recognizes devices by USB IDs assigned by Windows, so as long as you plug these units always into the same ports, I think they should work OK. I recall I also had to fiddle with USB IDs when editing Il-2GB config files when switching to another computer, so the same might apply in this sim as well. I guess you won't know for sure unless you try it. 1
