Art-J Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 Does any of Allied twins in CloD feature feathering propellers? And If so, did anyone manage to do it? The relevant command doesn't seem to work on dead engine neither in Beaus, nor in Blennys, nor in Wellies (which, I guess, answers my question, but I'll ask just in case I missed something obvious).
Sokol1 Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 As far I remember this feature was lost in some MG patches.
Team Fusion Buzzsaw Posted August 13, 2020 Team Fusion Posted August 13, 2020 None of the current British aircraft had the ability to feather their props. If we go on to create a TF 6.0 module, then you would likely see a Wellington III with the ability to feather its prop and a Beaufighter VI able to do the same. The Blenheim IV's never were able to do so... although the Blenheim V could, but we don't plan to model that aircraft as it was mostly used in the Far East in Burma.
LLv34_Flanker Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 S! As feathering is lacking or not working on German planes either, one has to be quick if even slightest of damage to an engine occur. Governor fails and you can not do anything. If not quick enough, the plane is essentially a flying brick.
