T.16000M FCS HOTAS Profiles?

Recommended Posts

I couldn't find actual profiles to install for Cliffs of Dover (preferably not Target). Anyone have links to some profiles not just the diagrams. I was thinking of just using the diagrams for IL-2 BOS if there isn't anything out there.

Why are profiles for T.16000M FCS HOTAS so difficult to come across with BoD?

What map on buttons, HAT's depends on your preferences.

- You se HeadTrack (TrackIR, FreeTrack...) or will use POV hat for control camera?

- You play with "Complex Engine Management", "Engine Temperature Effects" ON (in Options > Realism) or not?

Things like this will  influence what prioritize map in joystick buttons.

Even you plane preference, if British or German, if fighters or bombers have importance, because they have different needs of commands.

For example, the axis of the throttle mini-stick or of twist and paddle axis is not practical for use in the game - unless for rudder control,  due their return to center spring, but you can use then with JoyTokey (more simple to use than TARGET) sending key press.

For example, with special calibration with DView,  paddle or twist axis (depends on what you use for rudder control) can be used for "Wheel brakes".

I, for example  will use this orange button on side of throttle right side as modifier for another buttons - what can be set in Controls or through Joytokey.

Other example, this throttle slider on joystick base can be used for "Undercarriage" (landing gear) and with the modifier button for "Landing Flaps"since their short course and resolution (8 bits - 256 points) is not good for trim.

Tested with Spitfire, Hurricane and Bf 109 - specially for BF 109 flaps is very practical, you don't need press and hold a key/button, just move slider down or up. after each use leave slider in middle, like Bf 109 Hurricane gear selector.

I guess that T.16000M profiles for CloD is rare because most people playing CloD are "veteran's" and they use more "chic" joysticks, like Warthog, VKB, Virpil. ?

I made this profile for my T.16000M FCS & TFRP Pedals.

P.S.: This profile assumes you have a Headtracker.

I downloaded JoyToKey and:

Keyboard keys = and - were binded for Field Of View + and -

Keyboard keys A and Q were binded for Prop Pitch CW and CCW

https://joytokey.net/en/download

I also use some keyboard keys as support for cockpit lights, gunsight, and gyro.

Well done, there are a shortage of HOTAS profiles, given that they are a personal set-up.

This will help those in-need of a starting point. :good:

Nitpicking. :)

Why use 3 buttons for fire weapons?

Trigger = MG

Left side button = Cannons

Press both for fire MG+Cannon

P.S.: It's mandatory to have a Headtracker.

An guy who don't use HeadTrack can set trims on HAT, but under "shift" and use normal HAT press for camera control (in CloD need use JoyTokey for mouse emulation and use mouse view).

Newb here, sorry for the basic question. So would have to go into Joykey and program all this?

Or is there a file that has these commands uploaded already?

Hi Ozzy!

If your keyboard has the same key configs as mine, this file shall work. (My keyboard is set as ABNT2)

But through JoyToKey you'll only configure these keys:

Keyboard keys = and - were binded for Field Of View + and -

Keyboard keys A and Q were binded for Prop Pitch CW and CCW

It was a solution so CLoD can recognize some axis from my HOTAS as keys.

All the other keys you shall config through the sim panel. (Don't forget to bind = and as "Field Of View" and A and Q as "Prop Pitch CW and CCW")
