Hello guys,

maybe I am missing something, but where to activate the outside camera from the replays?

Options saying for example F2 and F3 for a flyby, but its not working.

I checked in the options "outside" camera is enabled if that would be the issue.

Also, for the POV zooming I want to use some HOTAS button's or if possible some axis.

Button's and axis (the 360° button on the top of the joystick), all is identified in the options but its not working than (yes, I press "confirm" on the right bottom corner in the options after choosing).

Any idea?

Tobruk is different than BoX as far as replays from online games are concerned : if the server deactivated external views your replay won't have them.

External view in Tracks recorded in online servers reflect server settings, if externals are locked, is not available in records.

This was a "Ubi'Z00" wish, for prevent a common cheater in IL:46 online wars, unfair players join a server, record a Track for a minute, go offline and see where are enemy targets.

For ATAG's servers are a utility in ATAG forum that unlock external view in replays. But for technical, or whatever (Bonfire of Vanities? ?) reason don't work for tracks recorded in other servers.

NO! CloD don't allow set zoom in analog axes. Are a "band-aid" solution for owners of VKB joysticks, through their firmware configuration utility (VKB DevCfg).

You can set "zoom" in joy buttons/HAT's (and keys).

Go to Options > Controls > Camera and set buttons/HAT for FOV + and FOV - commands.

This "zoom" is a bit exaggerated, from a "fish eye" value to 110%.

As curiosity, are another zoom that magnify only inside cockpit, is need press mouse button (by default is assigned for Mouse 5 ???) and move mouse back/forth.

Don't bother because are not practical, neither useful.

The utility in ATAG forum that unlock external view in replays works for TF server as well.

Sokol, does the Clod have some sort of a free-camera which would allow me to "fly" with it across the scenery (like F11 view in DCS), or does the camera always have to be stuck with some unit, or at least be defined as static one in mission builder? It's been ages since I played with cams in this sim and I don't remember what's possible.

No, CloD don't have "bird view" like DCS.

What mission builder can do is add Static Cameras around - from 2 to 100 meters (default) or height, for have visions that not around a object, vehicle of plane.

But Static Cameras should by the last objects to add in mission, because "Shift F2" will start select the view of last object added to mission, so if mission has 100+ objects, will take ages for find this cameras views.

Hi guys,

I am having trouble getting the static camera to replay my action after exiting a mission.

Typically, I set up a static camera 100 meters or so above an airfield/area  destined for an attack.

Once the attack is over and I want to view the action over the airfield, I cannot activate the camera replay.

This was dead easy in IL-2 1946 but I can't find any info for Blitz and Tobruk .

I am primarily a SP pilot.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Static cameras are accessible - in game, through the command Ctrl+F2, have you tried this in the track?

BTW - For the static camera became the first object see by Ctrl+F2 place the cameras as the last object in the mission, the game use inverse logic (100 to 0) for this on other options.
