GoldSquadJiblet Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 A bit of a quirky issue that I hope has a simple solution. Like a lot of folk I use a Warthog and Saitek Combat Pedals; they attach as three separate devices, and it seems that the numbering of those devices matters to BOS. Sometimes after a reboot the throttle is Joy0, the stick Joy1 and pedals are Joy2; that's how it was when I set up my controller config in game. Then the next reboot switched the stick to be Joy2 and pedals were Joy1 and all of a sudden BOS though I was trying to boot my rudder when I was waggling the stick about, all because the IDs had become mixed up. Is there a way to fix the device numbers in Windows (8 if it matters) at all? Or do I just get a crapshoot after each reboot and maybe have to reassign buttons each time...

Soarfeat Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 Something to try is after first plugging in your flight controls into the usb hub is to restart Windows several times before setting the controls up in the game to let Windows properly detect and set the device id's up.
