easterling77 Posted August 7, 2020 Posted August 7, 2020 (edited) Hi lads maybe someone can help me. I'm struggling to get the pan view work on my HAT switch of the Joystick (allready read the manual pdf and used the steps there) In BOS it works completley fine with smoth transition into every desired corner. Now in WOT the problem for me is that it seems I only can snap view with the HAT stick - the angle of view is resting in certain positions and jumps to the next - no smoth switch in the angles. Switching betwen snap and pan view via F9 doesn't change anything I only got the mouse after pressing F10 to give me pan view but not with the HAT switch. Can anybody advice? Any help is much appreciated. Edited August 8, 2020 by easterling77
Sokol1 Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 (edited) CloD PAN VIEW in HAT switch is only in fixed angles - an leftover of IL-2:46, what is OK in their 2D cockpits, but not in 3D cockpit of CloD. Incremental PAN VIEW like available in IL-2:GB is not possible. But, you can use a "band-aid" solution, with a 3rd part program for make POV HAT emulate mouse movement (JoyToKey, XPadder, Joystick Gremlin...): Notice in the video that the ability for click in some cockpits controls (Independent mode) is not lost with the emulation. An better alternative was the Russian NewView allowing 6DOF, custom snap views (e.g. for compass) but became unsupported when ClOD receive a 64 bits engine. Edited August 8, 2020 by Sokol1 1
