[Solved] True system requirements for Desert Wings vs. CLoD Blitz

Hi all,

 

I noticed on the Steam store page that Desert Wings lists OS requirement as Windows 10 64-bit. But CLoD Blitz is listed as WIndows 7.

 

Can anyone confirm that Desert Wings will run the same as CLoD Blitz on Windows 7? I know it's a DLC, but am wondering if the underlying system requirements have really changed, or its just a new listing to it was assumed Windows 10, etc.

 

UPDATE: Plays fine on Windows 7 64-bit, as its just launched through the regular CLoD exe

Windows 7 is not officially supported anymore because Microsoft has dropped support for it.

That however doesnt mean it wont run at all. I assume that if Blitz ran fine on it, Tobruk wont cause any issue.

There are threads posted about using W7 suggesting in all likelyhood things will run as they have for Cliffs, but with W7 not being officially supported any longer the recommendation is to upgrade to W10 which is still a free option apparently.
