I'm busy resetting all my controls... the bloody game hasn't kept them!........ BAH!

Not only that, it now doesn't recognise my throttle quadrant... so bloody frustrating.

Looks like my prop pitch, radiator control and mixture will have to be keyboard control and not the throttle quadrant.

Well it no longer says pre-order on the store page, and the banner says available now. We are in the home stretch!

Quick suggestion, restart your PC and recalibrate your gear then try again. I had a similar problem this week.

Only problem I've had is when I moved and didn't patch things back the same way into my hub'

There's several threads on certain peripherals in particular that are finicky, otherwise it's typically a hardware/software conflict or Steam setting.

Patently waiting then.

Well, if it wasn't so hot, I'd keep working on that Longnose Dora that is almost finished, safe for popping on the last few bits, some final weathering and the clear coats.

That would help with the patience, but then that reminds me of that funny bit in a story that I once read...

One of the main Characters: "How about some Patience?"

The other: "I'm the guy who asks the gods for patience, and then adds RIGHT NOW!" ?

I am working on a Boston Mk. III myself in 1/72 scale. Desert paint so isn't helping me forget lol.

Downloading... This remains good old old IL2 1946 when all the addons came. I  think that is was the best time.

OT:But this year is also groundbreaking because of MS Flight Simulator. It opens whole new possibilities!

Luckily mine is a Bodenplatte paintjob, got the Revell Rebox of the 1/32 Scale Dora-9 which still had the 3 repaint options.

The other one I'm building doesn't make it any easier, it's an Italeri 1/72 scale 109 F-4 which I'm finishing up in the colours of my IL-2 1946 JG-27 Campaign aircraft. So tropical colours, but with a yellow cowling and tail, and white spinner and wingtips.

Began again during "current world events" after a long break from modelling, almost all kits are from then. Well except a newly bought Corsair and Hellcat.

Might have to get a Wildcat/Martlet though and build it in Desert Colours.

Download is done.

Played without a hiccup for over an hour... flew the Hurri, the Tomahawk, and the F-4 over Derna area, generally messing around, no dramas.

As a test, I flew the first training mission in the Tiger Moth... it's one of those missions that never ever played properly for me and usually ended in a crash when the instructor took over.

It went like clockwork, so that is something that is sorted and will help any new comer on their first flight.

it's all good so far!

I have been running some 4v4 dogfights for easily an hour. And i played the tobruk strike quick mission which was a bit much for my pc lol. Absolutely love the Martlet and P-40, you can tell this is a labor of love.
