Game Key activations

I pre-ordered the COD - Tobruk add on via the iL2 Store. My profile shows that my purchase was acknowledged. When I go to activate the key, it tells me to go through the Steam activation...which I did..."Add a Game"...via the Steam...I followed the instructions on Steam...it acknowledged my coded activation key...told me to agree to the terms and conditions...I did...then it said the game was already in my library...to hit the "next" button...there was no "Next" button...just a "Finish" button which I hit. 

End of instruction from Steam.

I went to my iL2 account library and the Tobruk game as well as my earlier purchase of the COB - Blitz game show that they are not yet activated. 

Please tell me what I am supposed to do to ensure my receipt of the games I paid for as well as to be able to activate the games after all.

I do know that the Tobruk add-on is waiting release...but all my other pre-ordered games show the keys as being activated.

Have you downloaded and installed Blitz? I did exactly the same as you, bought from store and activated via Steam. Tobruk shows up in Steam Library as a DLC under Blitz.

My issue is that Tobruk shows as DLC under Blitz, but it does not want to activate/install. I have the enabled button checked, and saved. It says it is downloading, but it does nothing. Looking under properties, game files, it shows that I have the DLC, but that it is not installed. I have verified the game cache already with no effect.

This is probably because the game hasn't been released yet. The download will be able to start on the day of release more than likely

Thanks for the response. Usually Steam will state when something it not yet released, but there was no notification. It did state on Steam that the release date was 5 August 2020, and in Australia we are halfway through the 6th already.

I will wait it out, thanks.

It's been posted as release on Aug 6th at 5pm GMT. Seeing as you lot down there live some 10 hours or so into the future I'm confused why it'd say Aug 5th.

 

Regardless, 18 hours from now I'll be sat here waiting on the starters pistol to download what must be the most overdue update in flightsim history.

I just think it will released on some later point in time today.

I went back to check and found the culprit - the DLC page for Blitz has a 'Added 5 August 2020' note that I confused with the release date. My fault, nothing to see here ?
