SNAPKronovanX Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 I've always wanted to fly this aircraft, as I read lots about it and know it was beloved by its crews. So with BoS installed, now's the time to do it. I have a Logitech Flight yoke system, but I'm unsure if it's worth trying to fly the PE-2 with that or if I should stick with my T.16000m joystick? I'm hesitant with using the yoke, because even when flying GA aircraft in FSX or X-Plane 11, I've found the yoke to have slightly less control and fidelity than my stick. It's fine with the bush piloting I mostly do, but I'm not so sure in the heat of combat. I have a PS/2 extension cable so I can use my flight yoke's throttle quadrant as 2nd throttle, prop & mixture (also have a Saitek Pro Throttle) with my stick. I'm thinking the 3, 2-way toggle switches on the yoke could come in handy though. Especially since you can enable the Technochat feature with BoS which makes using them for trim very doable - really wish I had a similar feature in my GA sims. Anyhow...I'm wondering if anyone has tried flying the PE-2 with a Flight Yoke System and could comment on how it's performed and how they configured it? I'd also like to hear from anyone who's tried a yoke and went back to a joystick. 1
