Has multiplayer died down a lot?

I've been checking online numbers to jump in and play for the last couple days and there hasn't been hardly anyone on, at least not when I was checking. It's been I while since I played but I remember there being a lot more players.

Yes, multiplayer for BLITZ has dropped off as people naturally migrated to the new GREAT BATTLES games.

I expect we will see a considerable uptick in numbers when DESERT WINGS - TOBRUK is released.

We have two new servers to host the players.... much faster and more powerful than the old ATAG server which was so popular.  ?

And there will be a number of Squads hosting campaigns... TWC has been in on the Beta for some time and preparing a campaign.

There's actually been more activity lately since the announcement of Tobruk, typically starting around 1-2 pm EST or 6-7pm UK time and running for 4-6 hours depending on the day. 30-ish players across time zones from N America to Russia.

Of course it's one of those things where people attract people. Someone has to be the first in to get things rolling. I'm in most days and see unfamiliar names amongst the regulars. Not all are on Teamspeak and I assume some squads use Discord instead.

S!

Been flying on ATAG and TWC servers lately. Numbers have varied, but almost always someone online. Been a blast even still learning things again :)

Every server test I've seen over the past few years has been at capacity so I've never doubted there's plenty of players to be found, even if their gaming attention is focused elsewhere. Unlike most gamers Cliffs is the only sim or game I have. Other war theaters or periods in aviation really don't interest me. Personally I'm not bothered if the server is full or just a handful as it's generally a good, fun, competitive community of characters I'd like to call mates - if I were to ever meet them.

One more question is there a website that shows who is currently online?

Assuming you mean who's 'flying online' the ATAG page https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/forum/forum.php shows a list on the right hand side of active servers and Teamspeak channels. Hovering the mouse over each server will show who's flying and for how long.
