fiddlinjim Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 Been using Pitool V261 and always used the Pitool automatic dowload function and things function OK. I see now that V262 is available from Pimax but not yet as a download direct from Pitool however a lot of folks seem very impressed with it. How should I go about upgrading to V262 on my own, please be specific as I'm not the most computer savvy. Thanks, fiddlinjim My rig: Win 10 V2004, 1080Ti with latest Nvidia driver, 32 Gigs, Pimax 5K+, Warthog Hotas, MFG Pedals

Alonzo Posted July 27, 2020 Posted July 27, 2020 Yes, it's much better. 97% GPU usage here, no need for HAGS (Windows option).
TWHYata_PL Posted July 27, 2020 Posted July 27, 2020 (edited) I have stable 72 fps (144hz mode with Smart Smoothing enabled) with PT 1.0 , normal FOV, high textures and steam vr 220 % . Performance in IL2 at all maps is great thanks to PT .262 and my GPU utilization is around 93~95% Trying now 230 % in steamvr app and except Kuban map there is no drop in frames.. The best PT so far.
