Cliffs of Dover Blitz / Desert Wings + Steam

Is it possible that CLOD and Desert Wings will be made available for download ?     I  bought CLOD  recently,  and  then realized it was a Steam Product.

 

I don't know about the majority of the community here,   but I'm not going to install some BS  steam software to play a game.   All of the other  IL2 titles are avail for download, please make CLOD and the Expansion the same

Steam is much better now than at release years ago and compared to origin and other steam-wannabe launchers out there, it is actually pretty handy thing. I can understand when someone would need 4 different launchers to play their games but when it's only steam its pretty reasonable imho.

In the future TF and 1C may consider moving the CLIFFS OF DOVER series away from requiring Steam, but currently it is still necessary.

 

Making this kind of change require a lot of effort... which for TF 5.0 we preferred to be spent instead on creating new aircraft and improvements.
