Question for the mission builders here.

 

I have set up a multi-player dogfight designed to pit real players that spawn in from a FakeVehicleField object against 22 AI tanks that have been placed on the map. At the moment, I am the only player spawning in for testing purposes. When I tested the mission with just 5 AI tanks, everything worked without any error messages. Now with 22 AI tanks, everything seems to still work as intended, but I am getting a "server overload may cause some planes to have erratic behavior, please contact the server administrator" message. At this point, I cannot see any erratic behavior, but my vehicle gets destroyed in less then a minute so I cannot confirm if all 22 AI tanks are doing what they are supposed to do.

 

What is the limit for the number of vehicles, and any suggestions on how to get rid of the message without decreasing the number of AI tanks?

Just sharing what I learned. Was able to work it out using a couple activate triggers to delay the arrival of a few tanks. No "server overload" message with only 16 AI tanks at mission start up. That might have to be adjusted again I suppose if all 10 spawn positions (real players) are occupied.

Good to see you worked it out. I still have not worked fake_vehicle out. I am missing something really simple I reckon.

Ok I just figured it out and am not happy jan. There is a fake vehicle and a fake vehicle field!!!! I was using the former. The one I needed was under airfields NOT vehicles.
