[KG]Destaex Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 The tiger tow cables seem to be stowed attached to the front and rear cable hooks on the tiger and laid over the top of the tank. The tiger also has cables stowed on the sides where they should be normally?
SCG_judgedeath3 Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 In combat they put them there as its easier to handle and use when you get stuck or is in water etc than on the sides, normal teansport mode they had them on the sides or on the top, as one can see on photos or models.
[KG]Destaex Posted July 13, 2020 Author Posted July 13, 2020 It was mainly a friend of mine who was disputing that because he says you almost never see them in photos like that. Have you any sources that say this was common? I mean it makes sense to me.
SCG_judgedeath3 Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 Tons of photos of it if you search, pretty mich common knowledge and most tankers does this ? dunno why one need sources for this but here you go. some pictures after a few minutes:
MicroShket Posted July 13, 2020 Posted July 13, 2020 Lel, he just should google photos of s.Pz.Abt. 503 in July 43th. Dozens of photos depict all variants you can imagine.
[KG]Destaex Posted July 13, 2020 Author Posted July 13, 2020 THanks for the pics. I kinda thought you were going to point me to a book that stated policy or common practice. I know they towed each other out of trouble so that kinda makes sense. Kongo lines.
