No BOS campaign option?

HI. Hope this isn't a stupid question. Been looking through the forums, but can't find an answer. Own Battle of Stalingrad, and Battle of Bodenplatte (Standard editions). Question is, where's the BOS campaign?  Thanks.

FYI - You have to not select the 'offline' login mode. Offline mode only allows scripted missions and scripted campaigns.

Scripted campaigns are different from career mode.

Anyway. New Icering campaign is Stalingrad and by the looks of it very good. 
I only flown two and a half mission 

And those two and a half missions is by far the funniest two and a half mission you ever going to have in a IL 2. 
I am a f k for some days , this is why I only done two and a half mission. 
I usually follow the days in a campaign.  If the pilot fly one or two the same day I do the same, If I want to fly more I have another career/ campaign. In special scripted campaigns is over and done with far to quick if too eager

There are two types of campaign:

 

1. Career Mode - this is a campaign where you role play creating your own pilot, joining a squadron, earning medals and promotions etc. Missions are generated based on parameters (historical and some you can set yourself). You can transfer squadrons and do some other cool things like get promoted and command your squadron to control is on each mission. They can be quite long campaigns, and you can die if you play Ironman mode.

 

2. Scripted Campaigns - these are story driven and the pilot/squadron/plane is chosen by the campaign creator. Often based on historical events and/or pilots/places/squadrons. The big advantage is that the missions are hand crafted, hand made missions can have some cool things happen that you won't find in career mode.

 

Generally it's fun to fly both depending what mood you're in or if you've got a favourite plane at the time.
