What exactly feels slow? I use Edtracker + Opentrack and noticed no difference with the latest version of the game. You may want to check your camera settings in Il-2, something may have gotten reset there in terms of sensitivity, smoothing, etc.

They did implement a new type of zoom a couple patches ago, are you noticing it on zoom or only on head movement?

Hi, thank you for the reply.  I noticed that although the fps remain on the target of 30 fps, the scenario under the plane has Micro stutter.  If I restart the game having closed edtracker and opentrack then the micro stutters disappear.  This is very strange and for now I have only tried to fly with Mc202.

In fact it is not a problem related to the movement of the head but it is in general on the fluidity of the scenario, only that if I turn off the edtracker everything goes normal.

Try increasing the smoothing or reducing the sensitivity a bit and see if that helps, just write down the values before you change them so you can go back to what it was if it doesn't help. I think this can help with micro-stutters and such.

Could you post your computer specs and graphics settings in Il-2? People often find after an update that they have microstutters, I have found stuttering slightly more frequent with this update, others say it is smoother. It seems to vary a lot from person to person. Sometimes its a matter of adjusting a setting slightly to get back to smoothness.

Not EdTracker but Trackhat Clip Kit and Opentrack software. No issues on my side due to 4.008 patch.

Check if your graphic settings were changed after update. You could also try  checking if there is a difference running full screen vs windowed.

Hi guys from the tests I did.  I understand that it is not a simulator problem.Already starting edTracker I noticed that the movement of the head is not completely fluid

At this point I will retry a new calibration

A couple things to try:

I find that the Edtracker works best if I 'set level' before each session. Basically, sit up straight, comfortable and relaxed, facing the centre of the screen. Then keep your head still and hit 'set level'. if you simply reset the view the Edtracker sometimes seems to get confused as to where straight forward is, resulting in sometimes crazy drift.

If you have a headset with a microphone on it, make sure the microphone stays in the same position as much as possible - some mics have magnets in them and this can apparently throw off the magnetic calibration.

Make sure that when you do the calibration, the sample points form a sphere when you look at them, leaving no huge gaps in the samples. If there are gaps then it can throw off your calibration.

I use the EdTracker Pro Wireless and have a settings problem, I think related to OpenTrack.  When I check my six and roll my head to get a better view around my seat my head moves in the opposite direction.  What is causing this?

Open the options menu in OT, click on "relative translation" tab. You'll probably have to experiment with the settings to see what works for you.
