Pilot head - reset zoom in 4.008 - how to set it to be smooth?

Before the 4.008 there was a nice feature with SMOOTH FOV change with ; Pilot head - reset zoom command.

After 4.008 when pressing Pilot head - reset zoom command the FOV changes instantaneously with no smooth option. Camera settings speed and interia take no effect.

How to set it to be smooth?

After 4.008 there is smooth FOV change in the  Five new mappable zoom levels (with speed and interia option), but there is no smooth FOV change in pilot head reset zoom.

When using  -snapview center- there is sooth FOV change but this command changes head position and rotation also. I just need zoom to changed.
