343KKT_Kintaro Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 I just flew a "quick mission" on the Arras map (thus offline) and, for the first time chose "random entente plane" as an opponent (I was flying a Fokker D.VII). And my random "Entente" plane was... a P-51!

PS: the IA guy on board that P-51 didn't even notice my Fokker D.VII. He was on his way and disappeared. No need to say I didn't even try to follow him....

For a while the multiplane QMBs on the Arras map were likely to produce Pe-2s, He111s or Bf110s as random opponents. That got fixed and then 4.006 gave us the Bf109F-4 as the opponent in 1v1 Duel QMBs, for both random Entente and Central planes. I reported it and it got fixed with 4.008. Well as far as I knew it had... I haven't come across the P-51 yet but there is obviously something amiss with the Arras map. On the positive side, I shot down two Pe-2s with a SE5a when that was happening! ?

If you choose the Bodenplatte map and a random "entente" plane, the problem develops all the same. The problem develops when it comes to fight a random "entente" plane.
Chief_Mouser Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 Now here's the strange thing. Since 4.008 it doesn't for me. I tried to replicate what you've seen and haven't so far. And before, the Bf109F-4 only appeared on the Arras map, none of the others. So it would appear to be something deeper in the code than the maps and it affects players differently.
