TC and Bodenplatte

Any experience creating Ardennes Offensive missions with Sherman and other tanks when you own both TC and Bodenplatte?

The lack of some important towns, roads and railways might obstruct a decent historical like mission ...

The current map is unsuitable for creation off most historically based armored engagements. The towns and villages where the battles occurred simply are not there.

Thanx, a real pity ... I know IL2 is basically a Russian game, but my interest in buying the whole caboose was when they announced Bodenplatte ...

Even invested in a better PC etc. Got my doubts about Normandy now, been there a few times back in the 70-ies as a geology student hunting fossils.

But the rest is fun too nevertheless.

Don't lose complete hope. The developers could create and more Detailed Tank friendly map specifically for the Battle Of The Bulge area. Not likely... but possible.

What is the method for using the Binoculars? Thanks. ?

By default its Ctrl + 5. To "holster" those binocs', you have to press (by default) Ctrl + ~ (tilde)

We are having a Combined Arms Event this Sunday at 1500 hrs EDT if I can get enough of our guys signed up.  Shermans and P-47 matched up against MkIV's and 190 F8's.  Semi historical but in the same general area of combat.
