Need help with tank wreck skins

I am retexturing the tank wrecks to Summer and Winter versions. I want something approximating tanks “freshly destroyed” vs something that looks like it has been serving as a target on a tank firing range for a century. Part of what I plan is to have the displaced turrets remain on-scene instead of dissapearing after a few seconds. Any ideas or info of what scripts etc I need to change to keep them on-site and visible?

Summer wrecks for default skins of first person armour. It is a rather large file but had to be to get the details right. Activate with mod activator (beware the double folder error). Structure in mod folder should be: wreck_summer/data/graphics/vehicles/vehicle folders etc.

This is an excellent idea, and one that the Dev's should address as they improve on issues with the damage model/map optimization. But it will be interesting to hear/see feedback from the mod community on this.

Now I just need to figure out how to solve the disappearing turret issue.

The turrets seem to load as a separate file in to the game; i have just been creating the TC preview files for the ME.
