"Failed to load backend library"

Hi all,

After a windows upgrade, noway to start IL2 !

So after ré install of IL2, i obtain a VCTUNTIME140_1.dll missing, so i installed again VC_redist.x86.exe but noway...

After many desinstall and ré instal in a different directory, it doesn't work anymore and allways give a "Failed to load backend library"

Please help me

Windows update .... you asked for it: 

 

 

VC errors are some Windows redistrubatible (VCbasic or C++ visualbasic) errors.

I don't know which version IL2 needs however.

 

de-install the old ones, and download the right versions  from microsoft for your windows version.

 

I have 64bit LTSC, but i always install the x86 versions too, as some software might need them.

Thanks JollyJack’ but allready done with the Microsoft x86 version, re start computer as required  and... noway, the situation stay unchange.?

Solve by a windows restauration.
