From the difference between Standart and Premium version of the game ( http://il2sturmovik.com/ ) I guess new plane will be around $20, right ? At least single seat-single engine one. I would like to get this confirmed by devs if possible.

Also, will there be any possibility of game version, where I can make my own mix of planes ? I have never flown Stuka before and I have no interest in having this plane. With my assumption of prices for new aircraft I would like to spend my money on a different one.

Right now from my point of view, RoF had better starting option.

I would imaging that aircraft prices will be similar to those in RoF e.g. Single seater $10, Multi engine $15 or close to that.

As for putting together your own package of aircraft when you buy the game, i would highly doubt it as it would enable people to simply select the most expensive/ newest aircraft. I personally don't intend to fly the Stuka or the IL2 for that matter, yet having them available means the option is there if a mission requires them. And please remember RoF is 5 years old so it offers 3 free aircraft and the game for free, with the ability to purchase more aircraft if you want. BoS is a SOON to be released title meaning they need to make money at launch not lose it.

Just my personal feelings.

If so, then I do not understand $40 difference just for 2 planes more.

These aircraft are more complex than ROF aircraft, so they're probably going to cost more.

Don't just think of it as $20 per airplane think of it as 2 Aircraft, early access and the ability to have a say on development as a founder of the game e.g. paint schemes and unlockables. Personally i think of it as just $10 per plane as i said above and the other bonuses included for another $20

M8, why debate when we don`t even have facts?

Just wait and see....i bet you will LOVE to pay what they are asking..once you see pic`s of the various planes.

777/1c prolly calculates carefully how to price the planes.

Think it like this, 20€ /plane could be too steep price, only 1000 people would buy the plane X = 20.000€ profit.

Plane costs 10€/plane but 3500 people buys the plane as it is more affordable= 35.000€ profit.

Plane costs 1€/ plane and all 10 000 buyers (?!) of BoS buy it = 10.000€ profit...

So there is a line, blurred that is somewhere...and it is here where the marketing department kicks in.

You get the possibility to participate in the alpha/beta stage, support your local dealer, voice your opinions about mechanics, spot bugs and

foremost, you get to play the game for 10-11 extra months...

See, that wasnt hard?

Personally speaking I reckon there's a lot more work in a WW11 aircraft than a that on a cross between a go-kart and a pram with wings from WW1. So I'd be willing to pay the bit extra. I've already gone for the premium option as the La-5 and Fw-190 are 2 of the sexiest planes in-game anyhow. As fast as BOS team put's em up I'll probably buy em because this is my scene. I haven't gone for all the ROF dlc's though, I guess its a case of personal preference.

Zak said in the last dev diaries that the planes will be available in the Store end of June, so you'll know the prices soon.

Before that, a discussion on prices is meaningless.
