Gunner control questions

Hello all,

 

Using a Saitek X52Pro joystick I have several problems.

 

I have mapped an axis to move from pilot to gunner position in a JU87, this works....

 

Now how do I change the control method for the machine gun, at the moment the horizontal axis is controlled by the HOTAS 1 on the stick and the vertical is controlled by the vertical axis on the mini mouse of the throttle unit....no need to say that my brain cannot hit anything like that.

 

Is there a way to control the gun with the joystick ? I assume everyone goes into autopilot when they use the reag gun so the joystick SHOULD be available for that, right ?
