Tank painting in real life goes faster than tanks skinning.

They repainted the Jagdpanther at Bovington Tank Museum and it went faster than painting a tank for the game. ?

Love seeing the Hetzer beside it's huge cousin. Thanks for the picture and the reality regarding skinning issues. Skinners we appreciate all you do!

Hetzer is cute, but it must have been pretty hard to fight in that thing. It's very cramped inside. 

  Painting tank skins for the game is pretty big task, because there are a lot of small parts, spread all over two 4k textures. It's a pain to align all those panels. 

I'm looking forward for the day, when we would be able to paint right on the 3d model, just like real world. 

  There's 3d modeling software, where you can paint straight on the model, but it's going to take a while for those tools to show up in games.

I did my tank drivers course at Bovington, I was driving 56 tons of Chieftain MkV... went to the Bovvy tank museum quite a bit!
