jaydee Posted June 26, 2020 Posted June 26, 2020 Hi all, I have had few days using Intel Extreme Overclocking Utility. I am really impressed ...My 9700k is very happy at 5.1...NO Blue screens, everything is good....I never thought I would say this, but Intel have got this right. Try it !
dburne Posted June 26, 2020 Posted June 26, 2020 I use the Stress Test in Intel Extreme Overclocking Utility when doing my overclock and stressing between each change. However I do all my changes directly in the bios. Just the way I have always done it.

If you did it "automatically" (i.e., letting the app find the numbers for you) I bet you can perform even better from this point on by either achieving the same result with less voltage or (if maintaining the same voltage) get better clock. Anyway, seems already nice as it is.
