Tonk99 Posted June 22, 2020 Posted June 22, 2020 (edited) So I have started the German scripted campaign and it seems that the AI for my tank has been acting a bit strange. Firstly my gunner won't fire at anything I tell him to I have to do it manually which I'm not against but after having to be the gunner of the T-34 I wanted to experience truly being the commander and not a commander/gunner. Also another oddity is that my hull gunner was saying his MG was empty after emptying 1 box. I was thinking maybe it was just the AI being weird and not reloading. When I went into the hull gunner and reloaded he seemed to just reload the same empty box even when the entire rack to the right was full of them. I'm mainly wondering if this is a known bug or something solely on my end? I have had TC for a while and I absolutely love the models and everything but the bugs and the AI are really letting it down. If this is something not on my end I hope that they can fix this because I really want this project to take off since there hasn't been a good ww2 tank sim in a while. Edit: I validated my files and I had a decent amount missing. That seemed to have fixed my problem partially. They shoot now its just somewhat sporadic with the gunner constantly locking and unlocking the turret to engage but I remember that being a common thing. Edited June 22, 2020 by 361st_Tonk99 1
Fercyful Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 Is not you is the DLC. Hope someday they will upgrade the AI/pathfinding of the tanks and finish the project. The models are top notch (and more after the great skins at this forum) but the gameplay lacks quite much (unfortunately) 2
skpcarey1 Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 how do you go about validating the files? Thanx in advance............

Thanx in advance............ if you are on steam click on the game, then on the right below the game's banner there should be a little cog. Click on that cog and then click properties. From there go to local files and then click verify integrity of game files.
