DarKcyde Posted June 20, 2020 Posted June 20, 2020 TL;DR Default binds conflict with Oculus keys, you'll get stuck at 50% fps. CTRL+KP1 - Disable ASW and USE ATW CTRL+KP2 - Force apps to 45hz, DISABLE ASW CTRL+KP3 - Force apps to 45hz, ENABLE ASW CTRL+KP4 - Enable ASW to operate automatically I kept flying missions, starting with perfect 80fps in my Rift S, but getting stuck at 40fps somewhere in the middle, and it wouldn't go away until I killed the Oculus app. I assumed it was a game issue, until it dawned on me while sitting in the hangar at 40fps and I tried the CTRL+Numpad4 key. Back to solid 80fps where it should be. Next mission held a steady FPS all the way (turns out all the tweaking I've done really helped). Zoom did work fine in game, but it was also triggering the Oculus ASW settings. I was pressing the keys thru Target on my HOTAS. Quickest fix was to remap the zoom keys to use RALT+Numpad-X. Or just map them to DX keys and avoid the keyboard. Another tip: set your game and desktop to 480p (720x480). If they're not set to the same res, I keep losing the icons in-game when looking in some directions. I couldn't hold solid 80fps when I ran at 1080p. Because someone usually asks: 9600K @ 5Ghz GTX1080 @ 2100Mhz B-die 3600CL15 2

It caused a bit of a headache yesterday why ASW is always kicking in when it's off in OTT until I realized what's causing it.
firdimigdi Posted June 21, 2020 Posted June 21, 2020 Good point bringing it up. As soon as I saw them after the update I changed them for precisely that reason and then bound alternatives for the zoom levels I use the most to my HOTAS.
HansBlitz Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 Haven't gotten to play much but I had bound the 4 zoom levels to a 4 position stick on my HOTAS. Guess I was lucky I did that right at first so didn't see this issue.
