jollyjack Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 lagging, you mean running behind on schedules? that's normal with even modern railways. Seriously; you mean the don't obey waypointed speeds? I was told once the set speed is also influenced by terrain.

Not slow down, stop then start again, building up speed, but instantly switch from heading South at full chat, to heading North. Even the steam stack changed direction.

They've done that all the time in the QMB. It seems that they are allocated two points to run between so that they don't steam off into the distance before you can find them. Weird to see it, it absolutely destroys your aim!. ? 1
