rfoushee Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 I've tried everything. Complete reinstallation; delete update file; launch from game, launcher and restart; ports 80 and 443 open; firewall rule permitting IL-2 Great Battles. Contacted support; advised to re-install. I did, not a solution. Keep getting message "no connection with authorised server". I use Windows 10. I have never had a problem running the game until the last update. BTW, the game continues to update itself. It simply will not launch. This is getting very very old. Does anyone have a solution? Thank you in advance.
Thad Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 Salutations, When you got to the launch screen (Assuming you entered the correct email and password)… Did you click on the green ENTER!
rfoushee Posted July 9, 2020 Author Posted July 9, 2020 Yes - I got it fixed. I installed the game on my internal desktop hard drive as the SSD drive was running out of room. The program simply would not work from the hard drive. So I moved other programs from the SSD to the HD to free up the space needed for IL-2. Then I deleted IL-2 from the hard drive, reinstalled it on the SSD and then it worked with no issues whatsoever. I have no clue why IL-2 would not work on my hard drive. Anyway, I'll end up installing a larger SSD for the computer programs and use my original SSD for IL-2.
