Game will not Connect to "Authorized" server

After several recent updates, the game simply will not log on to the server.  It downloads updates and installs them.  But when I go to login, I have to manually enter my username and password (the game used to have that already loaded), click log on (it appears to be loading, I can her the music in the background, but it will not connect to the server.  And if I try to log on offline, I get a message telling me I don't have the current version, even though the "game" just finished installing the latest update.  This is very frustrating.  I have no clue what is wrong so I have no way to try to "fix" this.

 

I need developer / administrator / technician help.  Please.

For the log on issue, it could be a firewall issue or something with your router. I have also had random problems with the connection. Most of the time simply trying again after an initial failure is enough, other times a restart does it.

I hope you can get everything sorted.
