A server-side option was made to ban third party graphics injectors that change the way the game looks, like Reshade and the VREM mod, with 4.007. WoL has it turned on, so Reshade is banned there. Combat Box and Finnish Virtual pilots have it off, so reshade is still OK there. Not sure about other servers. 1

Its simple, players will decide what option is more popular, so if WoL starts to lose players because of them having this option ON they will turn it OFF. I didnt notice big dip in players on server, maybe what your expiriance is in US time zone where CombatBox atracts more players.
