Debating on a few collectors planes I do not have.

Po-2 is like a bush plane of the whole series, it comes the closest to pure stick-and-rudder flying as you can get, so in return it will help you hone some essential but often-bypassed flying skills that will pay dividends in every other plane you fly, and provide an edge over many adversaries you will encounter.  If you value development of your airmanship skills it is a great investment of dollars and time.

 

Otherwise the answer is go with whatever other plane gets you excited.  I found the La5's to be a very nice surprise that challenged my comfort zone since I wasn't terribly into the VVS planes but sure appreciate them now.

Im not picking on anyones favorite plane they are all fun to fly. I ended up getting the 109 G6 and the better LA5 to finish up kuban as thats my favorite map set. Gameplay wise is like to see a protect vip point system with that transport plane where you have to escort someone flying it to a location with escorts.  The only thing I dont have for this sim now is the Ju 52 and the new bomber and the normandy stuff.
