HagarTheHorrible Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Anyone else confirm this, the A.I are spending most of their time lawn darting or flying inverted ? Just did a couple of tests in the QMB against the Pflaz D.III and Albatros.

Now, they seem to do the old RoF trick of heading for the deck, maybe with a little inverted flying on the way, that I can't follow in my SE before flying straight into the deck. I don't even need to try and chase or attack them. I don't think it's related to blacking out, unless they black out while flying upside down. Edited June 9, 2020 by HagarTheHorrible
BraveSirRobin Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Lawn Darts might have been the greatest game for children of all time. Throw a metal spike through the air at a target with children standing next to it, who will then throw the metal spikes back again. What could go wrong? 5

HagarTheHorrible Posted June 10, 2020 Author Posted June 10, 2020 Hmmmm. Five out of five encounters against Pflaz and Albatros, in the QMB, and they all flew into the deck. I didn't even attack the last Albatros when I realised that it wasn't my exceptional shooting that was killing and disabling the pilots all the time. I was flying the S.E, for reference.
HagarTheHorrible Posted June 10, 2020 Author Posted June 10, 2020 Well that was odd. Just flew, in the QMB, against several Albatros and none of them, even remotely, did the inverted flying or lawn darting. As far as I can remember they all had the same settings as last night (ACE) although I might have reduced the fuel load yesterday, but can't recall.
Trooper117 Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 An RFC lawn dart... If a pilot managed to get a central hit on a Hun helmet he was awarded the ''Double Top Medal''

Sad but true.
