Restrict IMO, this is obviously a steroid option which most of the players do not use anyway.

I dont know man. I use reshade but just for the color enhancement. It does not make it easier to spot and for the longest time up until recently, I had it off because I felt like I needed to keep the game unaltered to spot like devs intended.

 

Il2 is very dull to me and I like my colors vivid with a shade of sepia.

I would open for reshade , I use it to enhance in game  washout colour palette.

I use the Vr enhancer mod for that very reason ...the color enhancement. It's the only thing you can do to adjust the color in VR .

It's certainty not a  a steroid option ....I always thought that was the Camel ?

What about my Nvidia software?  Should it be banned?  How different is it from reshade? 

My understanding is that the Migoto mod was hacked to function as not intended for 2d.  That means it is a hack unless it was being used unaltered for VR.  If its gone, good.  I think the devs said they were "fixing" things against Migoto.  Again, good!

You should ...2d can use it.It's called  Vr enhancer now.

 

PS- just to be clear Migoto doesn't exist anymore it's Vr Enhancer and the zoom feature that the 2d players used to hack zoom isn't in it ....there are features that it has that 2d people can use as well ...like kneeboards/sight brightness and such.you should check it out it has some cool features for everyone.

I am using Reshade to enhance the color pallet of the game which looks a bit too gray for my tastes. I do not think that it provides any advantage in regards to spotting targets compared to not having it, or I have not yet discovered this option.  So, for Reashade, let it be allowed in the servers.

Agree with this very much.  I used to use Reshade upto around three years ago to simply enhance the colour scheme of the game.  I haven't used it for a while now as I found it had a small performance hit on the game.

 

I think the idea that it can be used to enhance spotting or as some graphical cheat is simply not true and I've never seen any convincing proof of this.

I don't have a horse in this race, I don't use an injector but don't much care if someone does. Our server populations are mostly tiny during the time I play and besides Adam and his ever-present wingman, I don't really fear anything in the sky ?

When it comes to color and contrast, every monitor can be exactly the same but people want what is best for their personal experience. No one setting is perfect for everyone.

 

This is a low res image but I like it as a reference for ground texture.

They don't offer anymore than 2d players for spotting ....most of the time VR users are using zoom to identify as friend or foe what they've already spotted without zoom.....I guess the biggest + for people with lower end headsets is the low zoom so they can read their gauges ....

Again, in a world where Discord and TeamSpeak exist, VR or even 2D users having "super zoom" concerns me not in the least.

 

If you are able to spot me, close with me and bounce me without me seeing you, you deserve your kill. If you bring your buddies along on comms, so be it. It's a video game, not 1918, thank god. I'll get over it.
