It’s the 1^st Sep 1944 and your ‘Schwarme’ is about to take off and bomb a U.S. 155mm artillery battery bombarding the city of Aachen and surrounding targets from a ridgeline overlooking the city.

JG26 ’Fockes’ will provide overhead air protection during your attack.

I have not played yet, because I pass Stalingrad. But I hope that your enthusiasm will suffice later on to combine these missions into a small (or large) campaign.

Just saw your message 'FoxbatRU'. Lately I have been trying my hand at making a Campaign. I have purposely made most of my single missions to be combined into campaigns, so will look at 'the Battle of Aachen' missions to make into a campaign, I have still got 2 missions to go which will be based on a tank battle at Aachen involving Sherman's and Panthers.

Hi folks,

I have been sorting the marvellous collection of single missions (thank you everybody who's contributed) into 'mission pack' folders to manage the large numbers and types (e.g Bombing missions/Kuban, Bombing missions/Stalingrad etc).   I have therefore collected DFLion's 4 'Aachen' missions into a folder ('The Battle for Aachen mission pack - 4 missions'), and for my own convenience, tweaked the titles. And the result is that none of the re-named missions load!  I have attached the first mission and wonder if someone with greater knowledge of single mission construction and naming protocols can tell me what I'm doing wrong please?

I'm not quite sure what the problem was (probably because I'd forgotten to re-save the missions following the release of 4.501!) but all fixed and working now.  Thanks for this excellent mission pack.
