Copy IL-2 Directory, possible?

Hi there,

 

My C drive where IL-2 is installed is only a 120Gb SSD and has run out of space, I am thinking of installing a second SSD for IL-2 and other games. In the meantime, is it possible to just copy the whole IL-2 install location and paste it on my 1000Gb drive D hard disk?

Hi,

 

yes, you can copy the whole directory to another drive - this won't be a problem, because as far as I'm aware or know, the installation of the game does not write

any entries into your windows registry. The only thing you will have to change or recreate is any shortcut for your game (IL-2.exe, Launcher.exe or STEditor.exe)

because they're still pointing to your original location. That's all.
