=X51=VC_ Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 As a VR flier I have no other tracking to fall back on, and I avoided Cliffs of Dover for a long time due to lack of VR support. But it was on sale recently and for peanuts I thought it was worth it. I'm actually really impressed with it and would like to play more, but the view controls are incredibly cumbersome so I went looking for a quick and free solution. That led me to Opentrack. First issue - it doesn't seem to do anything in CloD, and I can't find any menu options in the game to turn on tracking, or accept tracking. I have Opentrack running in Admin mode and tracking started before I boot CloD. In Opentrack I can see "game data" values, but in game nothing happens. If/when I get it working, I would like to do one of two things with it: I noticed it allows joystick input, which is great because I have a spare mini-stick not mapped to anything and I'd be happy to use that to control view if it's smooth and responsive compared to the clunky in-built pan controls. But my outputs don't match my inputs, and it seems if I use both axes of the mini-stick it gets confused and flips out. It jumps from +180 to -180 yaw if I try to add pitch, and pitch jumps up and down randomly based on yaw input. Yes I checked and changed the axes, the "raw tracker" data is showing exactly what I want but the "game data" area just has a mind of its own. I can't seem to turn off the filtering or get a true raw output to control this. The other thing I want to try is face tracking (no clip). I briefly tried FaceTrackNOIR a long time ago but now that isn't free anymore. Which Input protocol do I need to use in Opentrack to get webcam based face recongnition and tracking based on that? Thanks in advance for your help.
DD_FT- Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Open conf.ini in Notepad, and check the [rts] section, see if trackIRUse=1 is there. If not, add it/change it, and retry? Good Luck!

In Opentrack I have "freetrack 2.0 Enhanced" selected as the Output type, is that correct? EDIT: just got it working, I had "freetrack" instead of "trackIR" selected as the interface. But my ministick control response is still a mess. Have a look at the screenshot, how is that even possible? It just does random things, barely related to my inputs. Edited June 3, 2020 by =X51=VC_
