Collector planes - Il2 store vs Steam store

Daft question - but - if I have Steam, then if I buy collector planes in the Il-2 store and not Steam, then how/when can they be used in Steam or is this somehow automatic? 

If not, then :( - bought some but probably can't cancel or resell? :(

You will need to link your accounts as outlined here to see content purchased from the store and from Steam.
 

You will not see the collector planes listed as purchased content on Steam but if the link works properly you should see it available when you launch the game.

If you link your accounts and do not see your content, contact Support. Sometimes the link doesn't work properly and support can often fix that on their end. Happy flying!
