Voidhunger Posted June 1, 2020 Posted June 1, 2020 (edited) In Panzer IVG there are additional 30mm armor plates welded to upper and lower hull. Under enemy fire they often fall apart and you are easy prey with just 50mm armor left. Its a really nice touch to have some parts of the tank which can be damaged and I am glad for that. But I wonder how often in real life the whole welded armor plate were torn off from the welded joints. I would expect part of the armor(which was hit) will be bend or cracked, but completely torn off is strange to me (With one or two rounds.) It almost looks like it was made for purpose to give a chance for the enemy guns. I hope not. What do you think guys? Edited June 1, 2020 by Voidhunger
