Feathered_IV Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 You may be right. It probably explains why so many of the members are Australians!

SCG_Space_Ghost Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Well, the propeller is attached now A few small parts here and there and I will be finally done. I'm excited for this one! 27.jpg28.jpg My latest lumpen work in progress. Bit of a French tank obsession at the moment. Great work!
STN Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 Letov Š.328 (1st prod. series), G5 (factory no.59), 6th squadron, Air Regiment no.1, Prague Klecany, 1937. 1:72 Special Hobby. I was again fighting to finish it. Messed up a few things toward the end. Got quick dry glue on the finished paintcoat, decals got blisters, the hull cracked behind the machine gunner... but otherwise it is a beauty of a plane 9
GrendelsDad Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Great work guys. Really liking the tanks as well.
Buglord Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 (edited) 1/48 Dornier 215-B5 I did not go too mad on the weathering on this on, i`m saving that for Black Widow iv`e got in my stash. Enjoyed making the pit for this one. Edited July 16, 2017 by Buglord 3
STN Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Nice one. I am trying to find the courage to build a night fighter myself.
Buglord Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Cheers STN... Iv`e the DO215 and the beaufighter in my night fighter collection , i have Black widow in my stash and im after a hurricane as well and that will be my night fighter collection. I say go for it m8 , just make sure you lighten the black paint to how you want it and the rest is just weathering , my beau is more weathered than my 215. + the bonus is less masking etc etc
Buglord Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 I also used this as an experiment with the different shades of black on the panels and i liked it , it looked better when i used weathering powder on it but after a varnish coat it totally disappeared ..On my Widow im going to weather the crap out of it.
sallee Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Very good, Buglord. I have a beau nightfighter in the stash with John Cunningham's markings. Need to think about how to make it look vaguely interesting!

Feathered_IV Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Excellent work fellas. Love those 109's, they are beautifully finished. Bug, your Dornier is a beauty too. I came back several times to look at it again. It's got me itching to crack on with the Do-217 that I put some pictures up about a few pages back. Nearly done with my little 1/144 scale doodlebug. I'll do some touch ups and apply some mottle and stencils with a brush I think. Just blew a pinhole in my compressor tank and bodged it back together by running gap filing superglue into the gap. We'll see how long that lasts! Here's a shot of the V-1 straight after unmasking and on it's little scratchbuilt trolley. Posed next to the 1 Australian Dollaroo that I received in change after preordering the Ju-52 and Yak... 5
Smouch Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Looking good Feathered I'm hoping a subject that I can get my hands on in 1/144 has the name of Ed Force One....
sallee Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 That trolley looks fantastic, Feathered. Nice stuff, Cybermat. Look at you with your glass display cabinet!

Feathered_IV Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 It's good to be small Here's the last shots of these. I'm calling them done I think and moving on the next one. It'll be a J2M3 with a bit of luck. 3
sallee Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Wonderful, Feathered. You would never guess the scale.
