voncrapenhauser Posted February 15, 2016 Author Posted February 15, 2016 Just finished this one 1/48 BF109 E-7 Trop. I used different light for the photos, just experimenting. Very nice and almost disappears against the base with its great camo job....NICE! 1
Feathered_IV Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Nice one Buglord. Beautifully finished and a great base too!
Buglord Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Thank you everyone. i really enjoyed building this one.
-TBC-AeroAce Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Because of this thread and my interest in war gaming I'm looking at the Flames of War miniatures. I have trouble with Warhammer so a smaller scale should be fun I will post back
Feathered_IV Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Look out for some of the Japanese manufacturers that do stuff to the same scale as Flames of War. Companies like Bandai, F-Toys and Takara. Much of their work is exceptional. I've got boxes full of them, just don't tell my wife... 1
carts Posted March 6, 2016 Posted March 6, 2016 Brilliant,a modelling thread, and some crackers in it too, will have to contribute, and I see Buglord is still cranking out excellent builds. 2

carts Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Like a bad penny! Not done much Aircraft recently, been going through a bit of an "Aliens and Monsters" stage, last one I did was this Revell 1/48th scale Me110-G4(nice little kit) 3
voncrapenhauser Posted March 8, 2016 Author Posted March 8, 2016 You guys are incredibly talented. Just got bifocals myself this year. Completely useless without them even at 1:1 scale, LOL. Need mine also for close up work...think that's why my models are getting bigger in scale too Like a bad penny! Not done much Aircraft recently, been going through a bit of an "Aliens and Monsters" stage, last one I did was this Revell 1/48th scale Me110-G4(nice little kit) Nice 110 all model types are welcome here too 4
voncrapenhauser Posted March 8, 2016 Author Posted March 8, 2016 Found some pictures of a Hurri I built a while ago now. 1/24th Airfix. 5
carts Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Those old Airfix Superkits still build up into great kits, and this one's a beauty.
sallee Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Very handsome 110, Carts! Very nice Hurri as well. I'm in the middle of one of those myself. Just restarting because I've managed to find new fuselage sides. The ones from the box were hideously warped and I couldn't get them to behave. On a bit of a wwi tank phase at the moment. I'm working up to a diorama to celebrate 15th September 1916 when my grandfather slept in a Mark I before Flers- Courcelette. Takom have released their 1/35 Mark I and I have a nice little Sargeant to represent grandpa... not short or skinny enough though! 1
Monostripezebra Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 on a sidenote, with aircraft weight down and timecompression up.. good old RoF feels like a real realistic RC sim: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dugsy4tPP_Y 3

STN Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 Phew! I´ll just pretend it is finished. The more I try to correct some things, the more damage I cause :D I even managed to break off the radar aerials once or twice T_T Anyway, here it is: 1:72 Heinkel He 219 A0, Dragon kit. 8

I am old enough to remember when I had the hurricane on original release, The fuz sides were warped even then especially around the fuel tank area. I love the WWI tank designs too. Nice HE219.love that camo. Excellent.
GrendelsDad Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 (edited) Awesome work guys...Cant wait to get back to painting war machines again. Stuck in the world of Warlocks Orcs and Undead with my kids right now, so all my painting time goes there. Only a few more years till they are old enough to get into it with me. Just had a closer look at the work here...excuse my urban slang but this is some next level shit right here!!! Edited April 12, 2016 by 6./ZG1_GrendelsDad

Wow what a nice He 219 in this small scale. The Dragon Kit is very complex and hard to build as far as I know. What additional parts were used?
STN Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 (edited) The Eduard detail set, Eduard paint masks and True details resin wheels. Edited April 13, 2016 by STN
