DUTTENHOFER Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Say you're at 2000 meters, sunny day, partial cloud cover. A few well placed rounds end up puncturing and igniting your fuel tank. Just a few meters above you is the cloud layer, so you pull up. I'm not a scientist but I think it would be pretty hard to stay on fire in said cloud. It's pretty annoying watching my plane explode in flames as I fly through a dark stormcloud at 350kmh. If this has already been adressed sorry for the ignorance, but if not, please give it at least a thought.

AA_Engadin Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Duttenhofer, there is no fire hose inside a cloud. Not even in dark grey storm ones, full up to the top of thousand million tiny waterdrops suspended in it, thanks to strong winds blowing upwards inside. You can even put your crate at the risk of a broken wing. No, you?
